This is where I go to school
Let's start with teachers. I think some are definitely way too strict for young children and some teachers just push their students too hard. Then there are others who barely get any work done, and then people think I'm weird for not particularly liking that kind of teacher? Even though the kids there are young, that doesn't mean work should be abandoned when there's a sub. But not too much work is good either. Unfortunately, almost every year I was in a class full of terribly behaving students and was given the punishment with the rest of the innocent and guilty students. But some teachers are very kind and have just the right amount of everything, which is excellent. Next, cafeteria. Like the middle school, the fruit is never ripe. It's always either hard and green on the inside or beat up and brown. The quality of the other food is okay, but some are just yuck, like most fruit. The aids learn how to take command, but my grade was very noisy and I think they deserved most of the silent lunches given to us. One thing I don't get is, if they're so obsessed with hygiene, why do some grades play outside before eating? Recess is a great time just to relax with friends, but also to get dirty. Recess is a wonderful thing except for that. When the weather conditions are too horrid for recess, we watch a movie, but even fifth graders aren't allowed to view PG rated ones. A movie is a good ida, but none of the fifth graders barely ever like the movies and some that are rated G contain phrases such as "I'll make sure he goes to hell," which isn't very appropriate for younger kids. To wrap this up, the school is okay, but I'd recommend Ridgeway over this if you are new to Manchester are have a child going into kindergarten.
